Avalynn’s Magical Disney Trip

Avalynn, who is diagnosed with level 3 severe autism, embarked on a fantastic journey. Her dream was to experience the magic of Disney World; however, what she received was so much more: wonder, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime. The excitement of meeting the Disney princesses was like stepping into her dreams. Her eyes sparkled with joy, and in that moment, it was pure magic. When not at the theme parks, Avalynn and her family relaxed at the Sunshine Foundation Dream Village.

Family Thank You

I do not know how to begin to express the depth of our gratitude. What you gave our family was not just a vacation. It was a dream fulfilled and a memory we will carry in our hearts forever.

From the moment we arrived in Florida, we were overwhelmed by the kindness, generosity, and warmth extended to us. Every detail was thought through with such care, and we felt truly seen and celebrated. Your hospitality made us feel safe, loved, and free to fully enjoy every magical moment. For Avalynn, this trip was everything. Seeing her eyes light up as she met the princesses at Disney was like watching her dreams come to life in real time. Her wish was to experience the magic of Disney, and you gave her far more than that. You gave her joy, wonder, and a beautiful adventure she will never forget. As a mother, there is nothing more powerful than watching your children experience happiness so pure and so complete. David, Hunter, Kaydence, and Avalynn laughed, played, explored, and simply got to be kids without worry or limitation. Florida offered so many firsts for them, and we soaked up every minute. We will always remember the sunshine, the theme parks, the sights, and the time together as a family. Thank you for seeing us. Thank you for giving us this gift. Thank you for reminding us that kindness still changes lives. The Sunshine Foundation did not just grant Avalynn’s wish. You brought light and hope to our entire family.” – Avalynn’s mom.
