Eleazar Celebrates Graduation at Disney
Eleazar, with Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy and Epilepsy, enjoyed his Dream Come True at Walt Disney World. Thanks to the All-Volunteer Southern Ocean County Chapter’s support, Eleazar celebrated his graduation at the most magical place on earth!
Family Thank You
“This trip was full of blessings and a great time. Eleazar enjoyed meeting many Disney pals, riding several rides, taking many pictures, and hearing many kids laughing/playing/crying (Eleazar enjoys being around many kids). Definitely an experience Eleazar and our family will forever be grateful for. Thank you, everyone, who sponsored my son’s Dream Come True!” -Eleazar’s mother, Maria
Eleazar has been diagnosed with Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy and Epilepsy. According to the National Institute of Health, Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy (HIE) is a broad term for a brain injury before, during, or shortly after birth when oxygen or blood flow to the brain is reduced or stopped. In addition to the brain, HIE can impact other organs such as the heart, lungs, kidney, or liver.
The All-Volunteer Southern Ocean County Chapter answered Eleazar’s wish through their annual Fishing Flea Market and Fishing Tournament. Thank you to all the volunteers, sponsors, and participants who made Eleazar’s dream come true!
