Jordan’s Magical Dream

Jordan, who is diagnosed with static encephalopathy and quadriparesis, experienced a dream come true on a magical getaway to Bill Sample’s Sunshine Foundation Dream Village and Disney World. The unforgettable trip gave Jordan and his family the opportunity to step away from the routines of daily life, including appointments, therapies, and other responsibilities, and simply focus on spending quality time together.  To be able to enjoy the rides and characters with his family was a dream come true!

Thank You from Jordan’s Family

“This has been the best vacation our family has ever been on. Jordan enjoyed all the rides and seeing all his favorite characters. We enjoyed all the extras that the Sunshine Foundation Dream Village staff did to make our trip extra special. We are so appreciative to our sponsor and to the Sunshine Foundation for granting Jordan’s dream and giving us this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.” – Jordan’s mom, Courtney

Jordan’s Diagnoses

Jordan is diagnosed with static encephalopathy, a condition where brain damage occurs early in development and remains fixed, meaning the injury does not worsen over time, unlike progressive encephalopathies that involve ongoing neurological decline.  Jordan is also diagnosed with quadriparesis, which is a muscle weakness in both arms and both legs. It is different than quadriplegia, which causes paralysis (complete loss of movement) in each of the body’s limbs.

Sponsor

A heartfelt and special thank you to Berman Travel for sponsoring the trip and turning Jordan’s dream into a reality!
