Landon’s Magical Week of Wonder
Landon, with Cohen syndrome, was overjoyed with his dream trip to LEGOLAND Florida, Universal Studios, and Disney World. Landon and his family stayed at the Sunshine Foundation Dream Village. While at the Dream Village the Fairy Godmother helped them get ready for their visit to Disney World.
Thank you from Landon’s Family
“I would like to send a huge thank you to our sponsor for giving our family the opportunity to have not only our first family vacation, but a magical one that we will never forget! Thank you doesn’t seem enough to express how much it meant to us. I have never seen Landon smile so much! Everything was perfect, and it felt so good to all be together and have fun and not worry about doctor’s appointments and life stresses. Thank you to everyone, including Palma Italian Kitchen, who spoiled us with an amazing meal!” – Landon’s mom.
Landon’s Diagnosis
Landon has been diagnosed with Cohen syndrome and trauma. Cohen syndrome is a rare genetic disorder that affects many parts of the body. Children with Cohen syndrome often have developmental delay, low muscle tone, distinctive facial features, vision problems due to retinal dystrophy, and a low white blood cell count known as neutropenia.
