Thank you so much to our sponsors and the Sunshine Foundation for granting Mackenzie’s dream. This whole experience has been life changing and so happy to see my family connect and make memories together.”-Mackenzie’s mom.

Sturge-Weber Syndrome

Sturge-Weber syndrome is a neurological condition present at birth. It causes blood vessels to grow too much, forming growths called angiomas. These angiomas can lead to a port-wine birthmark on the face. They can also grow in the brain and cause symptoms such as seizures.
