Tali’s Diagnosis

Tali is diagnosed with Tetra-amelia syndrome, being born without any of her four limbs. This syndrome can also cause serious malformations in other parts of the body, including the head, nervous system, and skeleton, and may have underdeveloped lungs, making breathing difficult. Fewer than 1,000 people in the United States have this diagnosis.
