Tali’s New Wheelchair
Tali, who has Tetra-amelia syndrome, an extremely rare congenital disorder characterized by the absence of all four limbs, loves her new adaptive wheelchair!
Thank you from Tali’s Family
“Tali can get in and out on her own, and it’s customized to her needs! She loves it. She can even go in the mulch!” – Tali’s mom.
Tali’s Diagnosis
Tali is diagnosed with Tetra-amelia syndrome, being born without any of her four limbs. This syndrome can also cause serious malformations in other parts of the body, including the head, nervous system, and skeleton, and may have underdeveloped lungs, making breathing difficult. Fewer than 1,000 people in the United States have this diagnosis.
