Dylan, a past Sunshine Foundation Dreamer, his family, friends, past Dreamers, and community of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania once again raised funds at 11th Annual Tricky Tray for the Sunshine Foundation to make Nicolo’s dream come true of visiting Disneyland, California and meeting his Dad’s family for the first time. All of us at Sunshine are full of gratitude to Dylan’s generous family and friends for Spreading Sunshine!
The Tricky Tray event was started by Dylan Smith and his family in 2013 and has raised enough funds to answer 13 dreams of children served by the Sunshine Foundation so far. Dylan has been diagnosed with Chiari Malformation, Craniocervical Instability, Dysautonomia with POTS, Auditory Processing Disorder, and Infa-Optic Origin of the ACA. Dylan had his dream answered to visit Disney World by the Sunshine Foundation in 2013 and has paid it forward every year since.
This year’s event will raise funds to help send Nicolo on his dream trip! Nicolo, 18, is diagnosed with Down Syndrome and Hirschsprung Disease. He has been through 57 surgeries and procedures throughout his life. Nicolo is dreaming of a family trip to California.
