Aliciana Enjoys Her “Best Birthday Ever” at Great Wolf Lodge
Aliciana, with Trisomy 21 (Down syndrome) and endocardial cushion defect, enjoyed a family trip to Great Wolf Lodge where she enjoyed the water activities.

Aliciana’s Diagnosis
Aliciana’s diagnosis of Trisomy 21 (Down syndrome) is the most common chromosomal anomaly in humans, affecting about 5,000 babies born each year and more than 350,000 people in the United States. Aliciana is also diagnosed with endocardial cushion defect, an abnormal heart condition where the walls separating all four chambers of the heart are poorly formed or absent.
