Brady Befriends Mickey’s Gal!
Brady, diagnosed with severe level 3 autism, enjoyed his Central Florida theme park trip. He really enjoyed the time he spent in Disney’s Magic Kingdom where he befriended Mickey and his gal. Brady also loved his first roller coaster ride! He especially enjoyed his time swimming in Sunshine Foundation’s Dream Village pool.
Thank you from Brady’s Family
“This has been a life changing experience for my family. Brady, for the first time, was able to run around and play, swim, and enjoy being a kid. The Dream Village is an absolute God-send for Brady. From the accessibility of the village to letting my son be himself and not feeling like we will be thrown out due to my sons’ disability. Logan enjoyed all the parks from meeting characters to riding on roller coasters (never been on one until this trip). This dream trip was the best thing for Brady and the entire family. Thank you, Sunshine Foundation, and sponsors, for giving Brady a dream.” Brady’s mother, Stephanie
Brady has been diagnosed with severe level 3 autism. Autism Spectrum Disorder is defined by the CDC as “a developmental disability caused by differences in the brain.” Autism affects each person differently, and their ability to function can vary significantly. Low-functioning autism is a term used to define children and adults with the most severe form of Autism Spectrum Disorder.
We are very grateful to a very generous private donor and Adopt a Dream donors, who made Brady’s magical dream come true!
