Bruce Takes a Splash in The American Dream

Sweet Bruce, diagnosed with bilateral hearing loss, took a splash in the American Dream DreamWorks Water Park, where he got to ride on electric animals and engage in activities that he had only dreamed of – an amusement park and a water park, where his laughter echoed throughout the day. Bruce cherished the moments spent with his Mom and Aunt Angie. The sheer delight in his eyes as he engaged in these delightful escapades was infectious, spreading joy to everyone around him.

Thank You from Bruce’s Mom

“Bruce and I would like to thank the Sunshine Foundation and all the donors. This trip allowed Bruce to enjoy activities such as an amusement park and water park that he would not have been able to do otherwise. He had a nonstop smile throughout the entire trip. Bruce states, ‘I loved the entire trip. It’s hard for me to pick just one. I enjoyed the amusement park as I’ve never been able to experience it. I also loved riding on electric animals and chasing my mom and Aunt Angie. It was so fun!‘ We are so blessed for the entire experience. We cannot thank you enough,” said Bruce’s mom, Amy.

Bruces’s Diagnosis

Bruce is diagnosed with bilateral hearing loss. Bilateral hearing loss is hearing loss in both ears. It impacts an individual’s ability to understand speech, hear music and other sounds, and participate in everyday activities.
