15-year-old Bryce, with Joubert Syndrome, had a blast at the place where adventure awaits. Bryce dreamed of visiting Great Wolf Lodge with his family. Sunshine Foundation and generous sponsors were able to make Bryce’s dream come true.
“Bryce and the whole family had an amazing time at Great Wolf Lodge. Bryce played mini golf, bowled, played MagiQuest, swam, and even did a rope course. We had an amazing time and enjoyed family time together. We can’t thank you for all you have done to help Bryce’s dream come true ❤️.” – Sincerely, DiPietrantonio family.
The National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities defines Joubert Syndrome as “a rare brain malformation characterized by the absence or underdevelopment of the cerebellar vermis – an area of the brain that controls balance and coordination — as well as a malformed brain stem (molar tooth sign).” Joubert syndrome can affect different areas of the body.
A big thank you to Glory Days Grill for making Bryce’s trip possible!
Rebekah, who has lumbar spina bifida, and her three siblings enjoyed their first family vacation.
