Micheal, with Mitochondrial disorder, loved meeting Goofy at Disney World
Wireless Zone and Sunshine Foundation Answer Carrson’s Dream
Carrson, diagnosed with cerebral palsy, quadriplegic, and hypoxic brain injury, is excited to be going on a Disney Cruise where he dreams of meeting Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck. Carson’s Dream is sponsored by Wireless Zone, where his dream-come-true presentation occurred. Wireless Zone employees, along with Courtney Kibble, Executive Director for Round Room Gives, and Sunshine Foundation President, Kate Sample, welcomed Carrson and his family into one of their Indianapolis stores and presented him with some additional items to take along on his special trip.
Carrson’s mom shared her heartfelt wishes, “I just want my son to be able to experience life. He has so much joy.”
Wireless Zone Gives Back
At Wireless Zone®, we know that our employees want more than just a job and our communities need more than just an average phone store. Giving back is woven into our company’s DNA. We want our team to feel fulfilled, so we give our employees the resources to give back and enrich their local communities. Everyone at Wireless Zone® plays a role in our efforts to give back.
Each year Wireless Zone® franchisees and employees nominate a local charity for a Wireless Zone Gives grant. We’ve shown year after year that we really can positively impact the lives of those around us in meaningful ways.
“At the Wireless Zone franchise convention in Orlando in 2024, we packed amenity bags for families staying at the Sunshine Foundation Dream Village, ensuring they feel right at home during their stay. We also had the opportunity to fold and stuff newsletters, helping spread the word about the amazing work being done by the Sunshine Foundation. But the highlight of the day? We proudly donated $50,000 to support their mission of making dreams come true for children with life-altering conditions.”
