Devin’s Animal Kingdom Dream

Devin, with low-functioning autism, dreamed about visiting the Florida theme parks. Thanks to the Sunshine Foundation and its generous sponsors, Devin’s wish was granted. It was a Dream trip for the 10-year-old and his family.

A word from the family

“Devin enjoyed the theme parks. He loved the rides, especially It’s a Small World. His favorite was Animal Kingdom and all their animal-based rides. He enjoyed sightseeing, water rides, and the animals. The trip gave him so much joy, and we plan on going back someday to do the safari. Thank you so much for this opportunity for Devin. It really made his dream come true!” – Susan, Devin’s Mom

Devin’sDiagnosis

Autism Spectrum Disorder is defined by the CDC as “a developmental disability caused by differences in the brain.” Autism affects each person differently, and their ability to function can vary significantly.
