Abigail has a Blast at the Beach
Abigail, with craniosynostosis and Chiari Malformation 1, enjoyed the most awe-inspiring beach trip. She was so excited about swimming, riding on all the rides, and playing games.

Abigail’s Diagnosis
Abigail has been diagnosed with craniosynostosis and Chiari malformation. Craniosynostosis occurs when one or more joints in a baby’s skull close before the brain is fully formed. Chiari malformations are structural malformations in the cerebellum, causing brain tissue to extend into the spinal canal. Abigail’s eyesight is going, and she can only see shadows. She needs to have a spinal fusion, but she was still able to ride on all of the rides and have an incredible time.
