Raymond Visits Bar Harbor, Maine

Raymond, with Down syndrome and ADHD, enjoyed a family trip to Bar Harbor, Maine. By the looks of one of his favorite pictures, Raymond may just have helped Congress document the existence of aliens!

Thank you from Raymond’s Family

“We are grateful to the donors for our trip to Maine.” Raymond’s family.

Down Syndrome

Trisomy 21 (Down syndrome) is the most common chromosomal anomaly in humans, affecting about 5,000 babies born each year and more than 350,000 people in the United States. Babies with Down syndrome end up with three chromosomes at position 21, instead of the usual pair.

Sponsors

We are grateful to Adopt a DreamAskey Victorian Holiday Open House fundraiser, Stone Terrace, the Knights of Columbus, and a generous private donor for making Raymond’s dream come true!
