Crystal’s Florida Vacation
Crystal had the trip of a lifetime to a few theme parks in Florida! Crystal suffers from life-threatening epilepsy and autism. The teenager dreamed of traveling from her home in Pennsylvania to experience the theme parks and the beach in Florida.
A word from the family
“I want to thank the donors of our trip. If it wasn’t for you, we couldn’t have made a Florida trip. Crystal enjoyed the whole trip. We went to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and Universal Studios. I can’t think of one thing she didn’t like. It was an exhausting trip but it was worth it. The memories will last forever. Thanks for everything.” – John, Crystal’s Dad
Crystal’s Diagnosis
The World Health Organization defines Epilepsy as a “chronic noncommunicable disease of the brain that affects people of all ages.” It specifically involves involuntary seizures. Crystal also has autism, which is a developmental disorder that also affects the brain.
