Rowen’s Florida Trip Includes Universal Studios, Discovery Cove & American Girl
Rowen, with aniridia (absence of iris), enjoyed a very special trip to the Florida theme parks with her family. She visited Universal Studios to enjoy “all things Harry Potter,” (her favorite), Discovery Cove, and the American Girl bistro and store. She also really enjoyed her stay at Sunshine Foundation’s Dream Village.
Thank you from Rowen’s Family
“Sunshine Foundation, we cannot thank you enough for this once in a lifetime trip! Rowen enjoyed it all from the early morning…7 am… swimming, Universal Studios (anything Harry Potter was her favorite!), Discovery Cove (which was so amazing), and American Girl bistro and store. She said she will remember this forever! Sunshine Foundation made this happen, and it means the world. The Dream Village was so cool. We had late night golf games, which was fun. We enjoyed swim time at the pool – a nice place to unwind after our busy days. Thank you!!!!” – Rowen’s mom
Rowen’s Diagnosis
